How to cook Spanish omelette

Due to the success of our International dinner food, I’ve been asked several times for the recipe of the Spanish omelette, beter known as “tortilla de patata”. This is one of the most famous and rich dishes of Spanish food. So, here is how we made it, here’s how you can cook it at home. I hope you enjoy it.

INGREDIENTS:
6 potatos
5 eggs
1 onion
Salt
Olive oil

HOW TO COOK IT: You peel the potatos and cut them in thin slices. Also the onion should be cut in small pieces. You put olive oil oin a pan, and when it is hot and smoke appears, add the popatos to be fried. You can put the onion in another pan to be fried as well. Then mixed them together.

Beat the eggs in a plate and add some salt, (better be dull, you can always add more salt later). Then mix the fried popatos and onion with the beaten eggs.

Put a pan with olive oil again, and put it all together for 3 minutes. When it turns golden, use a plate to turn round the omelette. Keep it in the hob for another 3 minutes, and you’re done.  Add some salad or a gazpacho, and enjoy your meal.
